Moving on from the Clava Cairns and after
visiting the Holm Mills Cashmere
Shopping Centre ( no purchases for us)
we decided to stop off at one of the small whiskey distilleries near Forries. Although Benromach Distillery (1898) is small it was very interesting
as we were treated to a personal tour of the complex and afterwards we “sampled” a few of the special whiskeys!”
Just as well because it was cold and rainy outside and the whiskey had “fortified" us for the drive home.
