All the special boat goodies we carried also arrived safely without any problems. Phew!
14 Feb,2015. Our Marina is rather " animated" tonight as a result of the offshore weather. Sounds like we will have to wet the mooring lines to stop them from moaning and possibly we will need to sleep in the saloon otherwise there will be no sleep for us tonight! Oh the joys of boating! Oh yes and currently we are being " knocked off our feet" because of the movement!
18 Feb 2015. What a day! Snow in Finike Marina!!! So much for global warning!
Never fear we were as warm as toast in our little cave. Only ventured out a few times. Then we were wearing lots of warm gear including gloves and beanies! Brrrrrrrr
22 Feb. 2015 Hi ho hi ho off we go into Finike village to buy a new electric jug as old faithful decided she had seen enough of the world. She has been with us for so many years that we have forgotten where and when we bought her! " farewell old friend"
25 Feb, 2015 Ahhh Today we saw the sunshine and had a break from the heavy rains and high seas that animated our Marina and kept us all confined to barracks for a few days! Everyone was out getting their Vitaman D and "hunter gathering" supplies just in case we are confined again
26 Feb 2015. Can't believe we are the proud owners of THREE folding bikes! It only too it only took 8 years to convince Mr Tom to get one and now suddenly we have three. As usual Mr Fix it is doing " his thing" and making sure all three are in good condition. Anyone wish to buy a good 2nd hand folding bike? Luckly we managed to sell one a week later.
27 Feb. 2015 It's a tad tricky getting off the boat at the moment as we are "a rockin and a rollin" in this animated marina.
