After leaving Amman we travelled south to the famous Dead Sea where we had the time of our lives floating in the amazing saline waters. Even Tom was able to experience the buoyancy it provided. He was chuffed as usually Tom sinks like a stone.
The Dead sea is 418m below sea level and the mineral rich water is famous for its therapeutic properties. Dead Sea products are a huge industry in both Jordon and Israel.
Some of our group had a mud bath but we decided we didn't need to as we had "the mud experience" in other places on our travels and knew just how hard that mud is to scrub off the skin!
