Our next touring adventure was to be to some of the Scandinavian countries during the late northern spring of 2014 before the major tourist season began. So we quickly organised ourselves booking the airfares, trains and buses, most of the accommodation and day tours for a week in Stockholm, Sweden, a week in Copenhagen, Denmark and two and a half weeks in Norway. We were especially excited about our visit to Norway as we were to spend a few days in Namsos with our friend Frank and maybe even have a sail on his yacht if the weather was kind to us. As this little city was at 63 degrees N we packed lots of warm clothes even though it was springtime!
