Sept 2012
As we sailed along the Turkish Coast in Sept 2011 we stopped in the delightful little town of Kas (Kash) which is part of the Lycian Way. It is just a stones throw away from the little Greek Island o Kastelloriso (Meis today).

Sunset Kas Marina |
We stayed for a week in the lovely Kas (Kash) Marina and were treated to the most magnificent sunsets.

These chaps were from the Uk and were on a fundraising drive from London to Cape town. We love vintage cars so we chatted to them for a while.
Our days were spent our days wandering around visiting all the Lycian Tombs we could find. We certainly found them in the oddest laces in the oddest places! This on was in the middle of town!

We also climbed up to some of the Lycian Tombs on the hillside.
This tomb was right in the middle one of the main streets!

One of the many Cram Packed Stores |
One can buy just about everything from the the weekly market which is always well attended. Note the tomb in the middle of the market place!

We throughly enjoyed Kas and would love to spend more time there. Go there if you are in Turkey as you will not be dissappointed.
