Pyli Village, Kos Island, Greece 2013

28, August, 2013
While we were in Kos we decided to take a bus trip up into the hills to check out one Pyli Village and Old Pyli. Although it was an enjoyable few hours we were not overly impressed with Pyli. Maybe if we had a car  we could have driven to Old Pyli  which we discovered once were in Pyli was just too far to walk.  So if you are interested, hire a car or go on a Day Tour as there are a number of  interesting villages around the Kos Island
This website has some usful information and photos.

Just love this sign!
Spring with cool water from the Mountains
Where we had the all important morning tea.
Yet another Greek Orthodox  Church which was closed!
Can't resist taking photos of colurful bouganvillias! They remind us of our  own garden back in Australia.
Tom thought he'd like to have one of these on the Hamamas!
Couldn't find out much about this but thought it must be important.
