After a peaceful night at Nisis Yali we set off around 7 am to sail (read motored) the 38 nm to back to Pedi Bay on Symi Island so we would be ready to check out of Greece. However, the weather was not settled enough for us to leave the boat and take the bus into Symi town until Monday.
Even so after we had checked out we still had to wait a few more day before the weather was settled enough for us to sail for Bozburan in Turkey, only 10 nm away. All the while we were on anchor watch as the Meltemi decided to give us yet another blast!
Finally on 2 Oct, we said a fond farewell to Pedi Bay, Symi Island and the Dodecanse Islands and headed back to Turkey.
